Over the weekend I took the girls out to their fave fast food. They were pretty excited until they couldn’t get their order of chicken nuggets. So I decided to surprise them with some home made chicken nuggets. It was my first attempt at it but it was waaaaay better than the fast food nuggets. Not to blow my trumpet or anything…but…i’m proud of myself
Ingredients:
Chicken breasts
Egg
Flour
Milk
Seasoning (salt and spices)
Method:
- Wash and cut the chicken into little pieces making sure its not too thick so the chicken can cook through.

- Season the chicken with salt and spices and set aside

- Break an egg in a bowl of milk

- Add some seasoning to your flour and mix

- Now dip a piece of chicken into the egg mix

- Then into the flour

- Then into the bread crumbs.
- I did not have enough bread crumbs so i decided to smash some potato chips…yea! I’m sure your surprised…but it worked and it even gave the nuggets more flavor cos I used “pringles sour cream and onion”.

- Just shake off any excess crumb and fry. Make sure the oil is hot and its also cooking on low heat. When you drop d chicken in the pan…it should sizzle.

- Make sure your flipping the nuggets every 2mins so it doesn’t burn.
- My nuggets cooked in about 6mins because they were not too thick. So it might vary with the thickness of the chicken. Try not to overcook it so its not dry.
- Enjoy!
